We complain day in and day out for sth or the other...but the real world outside is very difficult to survive......and if its for deprived small children,..its horrendous.
On the 9th of May, H2d members paid a visit to a shabby and dilapidated Govt school near Lalbagh, wherein Surabhi Foundation has been running a shelter for the street-dwelling children and orphans. The unfortunate part is that these children are in real dire straits...sleeping on the floor without any mat or matress, no fan... they cuddle up when water drips from the top. They donot put food in the waste but share it ...they get only 1 ltr milk to feed 25 mouth...
We know poverty is not new to our country...., but herein lies that social responsibility of ours to make a difference....
